if anything it's either willpower or pure luck that seems most likely to affect insanity.Īlso the markers themselves can probably decide to go easy on how much they affect you, so that you can accomplish certain tasks for them. The marker from the first game for example has very strange goals, it seems to almost want to stop the infection on the ship and be returned to the planet, yet at the same time the marker itself is what is causing the infection, or at least the outbreak.Īnd being taken back to earth so it can help cause a convergence event would be what you would THINK the marker would want to do.so why does it go against that?Īlso the whole, "high intelligence being able to counter the insanity" seems kinda BS to me, as you think there would be tons of highly intelligent people aboard the ishimura. The thing is, with the necromorphs being a work of fiction, there are alot of inconsistencies and conflicting information regarding how they work. The reality, from how the infection is presented, NO ONE should be able to survive at all, with the exception of only one type of person.and that is people that are useful enough to the marker that it let's them live to help create more markers.
